Kerry Arden Coe of Terre Haute IN passed away Thursday January 9, 2020 in Palm Harbor FL. He was born in Wayne, Ohio on August 12, 1934 to George Patrick and Wilma Cutright Coe. Kerry was retired from IBEW International Brotherhood of Electrical workers local 242, a veteran of the Korean War having served in the Air Force as an Airman First Class, a life member of the VFW post 972, Prairie Creek, American Legion Post 404, a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of Triandria Lodge #780 in Rock Creek Ohio, and a member of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Noble’s of the Mystic Order of the Zorah Shrine in Terre Haute, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Felicia Phyllis Traphagan Coe, brothers George Coe Jr, Allen Coe, and Linton(Janice) Coe.
Survivors include his son, Michael Coe of Williamsfield Ohio, three stepsons, Ken Church of Ft. Wayne IN., Bob Church of Deltona FL, Gary (Cyndi) Church of Plainfield IN., Daughter Karen (Mark) Alderman of Hilliard FL, brothers Willard (Marie) Coe of Scottsdale AZ, Ervin Coe of Williamsfield Ohio, sisters Kathy Winch of Cininnati Ohio(deceased), Pat Augustinsky of North Fort Myers FL(deceased), two sisters-in-laws Bernice Traphagan(deceased) and Shirley Randolph and her husband Tipton, daughter-in-law Kathy Speckert and husband Fred, five grandchildren Tyler Church, Kristopher Church, and his wife, Becca, Kendall Church, and his wife, Jessica, Joshua Church and his wife Jennifer, Nick Coe, great grandchildren Edison Church, Gavin Church and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2620 Ohio Blvd, Terre Haute with Pastor Dana Newhouse officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Ft. Wayne IN.
