Sharon Harmon

Sharon Harmon, 81, of Sullivan passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Vigo County on July 17, 1938 to Phillip Vaughn and Ida Belle (Hunt) Vaughn.  Sharon was a Registered Dietician and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from ISU.  Sharon was a member of the American Dietetic Association and the Fairbanks Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death are her parents and a son William Richard Monk.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years Dennis Harmon, whom she married January 7, 1975; seven children, sons Frank (Kathy) Monk of Indianapolis, Patrick (Michelle) Harmon of Fairbanks, daughters Diana Enochs of SC, Linda Harmon of St. Louis, Pam Jobe (Dave) of Sullivan, Jackie (Scott) Campbell of Vincennes, Cindy (Matthew) Tallyn of VA, brothers Ted Vaughn(Loretta), David Vaughn (Marion), Danny Vaughn (Debbie), Bruce Vaughn (Debbie), sisters, Brenda (Bob) Oliveria, NancyBennett (Donald), several grandchildren and great grandchildren and other nieces, nephews and extended family.  
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 28, 2020 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Asbury officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be at Pogue Cemetery, Fairbanks, Indiana.
