Sheryl (Mckinley) Cole

Sheryl Cole, 87, of Sullivan passed away on Wednesday August, 4, 2021 at Breckenridge Nursing Home.  She was born in Sullivan County on December 30, 1933 to James Harvey McKinley and Nelle (Pirtle) McKinley. She was a 1951 graduate of Merom High School,  had married Warren Cole in 1954 and became a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Sheryl loved to garden, sew, crochet, play the organ and enjoyed her cats. Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband Warren in 2018, brothers Kenneth and Larry McKinley and her sister Helen Mahan.

Survivors include her son Ronnie Cole of Sullivan,  her grandchildren James Cole and his Fiancee Shameah  Hubbell of Merom, Jessica (Ray) Dickerson of Merom,  several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 7, 2021 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Eric Blevins officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle.
