Hymera, Ada Ruth Tipton, 57, of Hymera passed away on Monday August 12, 2013. She was born in Sullivan Co. on October 4, 1955 to Claude Franklin and Elva Mae (Johnson) Tipton. Ada was known and loved as "racecar grandma" to her two grandchildren Makyra Maze and Sessna Maze. She loved her family, Facebook friends and was a Nascar fanatic. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her daughter Jeanie (Shawn) Maze of Brandon MS, a sister Sue Harper of Hymera, a niece Brandy Ranard and nephew Clay Woodruff. Services to celebrate her life will be at a later date by family and friends. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
