Alana Gayle Pullum, 72, of Sullivan, slipped into arms of Jesus on Tuesday, April 28,2026 at Envive of Sullivan. She began her life journey on June 15,1953, born to the late Howard and Betty Salesman. She married her loving husband, Harold Pullum on July 11,1981.
Alana’s, spirited, sassy, personality was evident to all who had the privilege to meet her. She was a deeply devoted Wife, Mom and Grandmother, who loved with out boundaries. Her family were her pride and joy. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, collecting bears and always had classic country music playing. Her all time favorite was Stone Wall Jackson.
Her parents were awaiting her arrival along with her grandson, Dawson McKinney.
Those here to cherish her memory are her husband, Harold Pullum, her loving daughter, Dorothy McKinney and her granddaughter, Alyssa Twomey; brothers, Roy Salesman and Rex Whitehead, along nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Also, her fur baby kitty Yoda, whom she loved dearly.
A celebration for a life well lived will be on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Howesville Church of God of Prophecy, from 11:00 am. until time of service at 1:00pm. Pastor Tracy Carpenter will be officiating .
Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangments.
