Betty Faye (Breedlove) Carty

Betty Carty, 89, of Carlisle passed away on Monday August 24, 2020 at Meadows Manor North in Terre Haute. She was born in Shelburn on December 13, 1930 to Ernie Breedlove and Vanetta (Barden) Breedlove. Betty was a rural Mail Carrier in Carlisle and a member of the Carlisle Christian Church. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Harold Carty, and a son David Carty. brothers, William Breedlove, Gene Breedlove, and  a sister Marlene (Breedlove) Deidolf,

Survivors include her son Michael Carty, daughter Rhonda (Carty) Meurer, Lisa (Carty) Duerlinger, Debbie (Carty) Vickers  9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday August 29, 2020 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Stewart officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of services. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle.
