Betty Jean Reed

On August, 25, 2015, at approximately 2:24 p.m., Betty Jean Marshall Reed left this world and joined her husband, John Reed, her parents, Bud and Fern Marshall, and her grandson, Shawn Drake. Betty is survived by her daughters, Linda Reed Drake (husband Randall Drake) and Janice Reed Knotts (husband Richard Knotts); four grandchildren, Michelle Drake turner (husband Brad Turner), Angela Drake Francis (husband Brad Francis), Kendara Knotts Fuhs (husband Brian Fuhs), and Kyler Knotts (wife Gretchen Knotts); eight great-grandchildren, Mikayla Turner, Drake Turner, Sarah Francis, Logan Francis, Carson Fuhs, Collier Fuhs, Keaton Knotts, and Kroy Knotts; and her very special friend, Arnold Nash. Betty was a kind and independent person who did not like a lot of attention, yet, she was known for her giving heart. Those who knew her best knew her to conduct herself with dignity, class, and strength. The family requests that a donation be made to either The American Cancer Society or The Sullivan County Community Foundation (SCCF, Gift 6). Friends and family are invited to a attend graveside service on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 1:00 pm, Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg.
