Betty June (Turner) Roberts

Betty June Roberts, 86, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday September 22, 2020 at Meadows Manor East in Terre Haute. She was born in Kokomo IN, on June 8, 1934 to Harley and Darlene Turner. She was a cook and owner of the Roberts restaurant in Carlisle for over 25 years, worked at Gossards and the Wabash Valley Correctional facility and a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church. Preceding her in death are her parents, and her husband James E Roberts in 2017, a daughter in-law Kathi Roberts in 2003.

Survivors include her son Charles “Shindy” Roberts and his wife Debbie, of Lawrenceville IL, and a daughter Mary Beth Roberts of Terre Haute, 2 grandchildren, Hollie Bowman and Josh Roberts, and several great grandchildren.

Grave side services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday September 25, 2020 with Fr. John Pfister officiating, at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that if friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to the Odd Fellows Cemetery, PO Box 424 Carlisle IN 47838.
