Brittany Money

With shattered hearts and a sadness that words could never fully explain, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Brittany Money, who left this world far too soon at the age of 33.

Brittany was one of a kind. She was loving, outgoing, goofy, free-spirited, and down to earth. She had a heart of gold and was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without thinking twice. She had a way of making people laugh, bringing life into a room, and making memories that would last a lifetime. She was unapologetically herself, and that is something those who knew and loved her will never forget.

Brittany was also a hardworking woman who spent many years doing work she truly enjoyed. Her first job was at Sullivan McDonald’s, where she worked for many years and made memories along the way. She later spent many years working in home healthcare, a job she also enjoyed. Her caring nature and willingness to help others were just a few of the qualities that made her who she was.

Above all, Brittany was a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. Her greatest blessings were her two sons, Jesse Roberson and Weston Richmond. They were a part of her heart that she carried everywhere. Being their mom was a part of her that will forever be remembered and cherished.

Brittany leaves behind her loving mother,Sherry Money; her two beloved sons, Jesse and Weston, her younger sister, Taylor Money; aunts, Brenda Rash, Martha Coulson, Trudi Money, Sherri Bickel, and Debbi Alumbaugh; uncles, Mark Flynn, Johnny Shearer, Freddie Money and Ray Money. Brittany also leaves behind her two lifelong best friends, Jenea Richardson and Sierra Mejean. There are many extended family members and friends who will miss her more than words could ever express.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Garlan Earl Money; her grandparents, Elsie Faye Flynn and Leo Flynn; her grandparents, Bessie Money and Raymond Money; along with aunts, Shirley Watts, Rosemary Kingery, Starr Money and Sandra Fisher; uncles, Walter McCrarey and Jerry McCrarey, along with Westons father, Dakota Richmond and other cherished family members who welcomed her home.

Her passing was sudden and has left everyone who loved her struggling to understand how someone who was such a big part of their lives could be gone in an instant. Thirty-three years was simply not enough. There were still conversations to have, memories to make, laughs to share, and so much life left to live.

How do you say goodbye to someone you’ve spent your entire life with? How do you accept that a person who has been part of every chapter of your story won’t be there for the next one? Some losses are simply too big for words, and this is one of them.

Brittany’s time here may have been far too short, but the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created will live on through everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

She will never just be someone we used to know. She will forever be our Brittany. A piece of our childhood, a part of our family, and a piece of our hearts that can never be replaced.

Service’s to celebrate Brittanys life will be at Holmes Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 am. until service at 1:00 pm.

Burial will be at a later date.
