Calvin Boone

Calvin Boone, 69, of Merom, passed away on Sunday September 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Sullivan County on July 17, 1949 to Nelson and Ruth Anna (Gray) Boone. Calvin was a 1967 graduate of Sullivan High School, an Iron worker for over 42 years; a member of the Local Iron workers Union 439, Carlisle Masonic Lodge #3, Scottish Rite, Valley of Terre Haute, Sullivan Elks #911, and a life member of the Sons of the American Legion's and VFW.

Survivors include his Fiancé Carla Johnson and her children and grandchildren, sons Gabe (Dana) Boone of Shelburn, Rob Boone of Marshall IL, daughters Stacey Boone (Shaun Plaskiewicz) of Tarpon Springs FL, Kelley (Alan) Senteney of Shelburn, brother, Scott (Bonnie) Boone of Sullivan, sisters Paula (Cary) Sparks of Terre Haute, Myra (Kenny) Blankenbeker of Annapolis IL, grandchildren, Jonas Thompson, Logan Cox, Zoe Thompson, Lily Thompson, Blake Boone, Dylan Boone, Cole Boone, several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Services for Calvin will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday September 7, 2018 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eric Blevins officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8:00p.m. Masonic services will be at 7:00p.m. and the Elks service will be at 7:30p.m. Burial will be at Merom Cemetery
