Calvin Ray Trautvetter

Calvin Ray Truatvetter 73, of Shelburn formerly of Riley, Indiana, passed into eternal rest in the comfort of his home, on Tuesday, December 10, 2025. He began his life journey on March 6, 1953 in Huntingburg, Indiana. Born the son of August and Martha Vass Trautvetter.

Calvin was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School while continuing his education at Indiana State University. After ISU he was employed with Pillsbury in the maintenance department, he then joined OSHA as a dedicated employee until his retirement.

Calvin enjoyed farming and tinkering with his tractors, the outdoors was where he felt most at home.

He is preceded in death by his father, August R. Trautvetter and infant brother, Brent Douglas Truatvetter.

Those here to cherish his memory are his Mother, Martha Trautvetter; children, Matthew Trautvetter (Heidi) and Sara Beth Khoury (Mussia); sister, Angela Howard (Alan); grandchildren, Isabella, Mary, David, Nikolas and Lukas. A niece, along with his loving fur baby, Bailey. Also many extended family and friends.

Private graveside services will be held.

Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
