Charles Edmond Kimmell

Charles Edmond Kimmell, 78, of Sullivan, passed away on Monday January 18, 2016 at Union Hospital. He was born in Shelburn on March 9, 1937 to Charles W. and Dorothy Meyer Kimmell. Charles served his country with the US Navy and had become a truck driver for McLean Trucking. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Herb Kimmell, a sister Sharon Rose Dolph and one grandchild.

Survivors include his son Scott Kimmell of Sullivan, a stepson Terry (Sandy) Arnett of Sullivan Jeff (Diane) of Sullivan and four grandchildren.

Services for Charles will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday January 25, 2016 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hammond officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of services. Burial will be at Little Flock Cemetery, military grave rites will be given by the Hymera, Shelburn, Sullivan American Legions and Sullivan VFW.
