Charles Scott

Charles Scott Sr., 79, of Riverton, passed away on Saturday November, 30 2019 at United Methodist Village in Lawrencville. He was born in Sullivan County on April 12, 1940 to Roy and Martha (Pirtle) Scott. Charles was a professional driver and was a member of the Teamsters.

Survivors include his sons Charles Scott Jr., of Sullivan, Danny (Mona) Scott of Sullivan, Garth (Tammy) of Sullivan, Chad (Tekisha) of Carlisle, Randy (Katie) Scott of St. Francesville IL., sisters, Sis Grey, of Crystal River FL., Dot, of TX., and several grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 4, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hammond Officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Merom Cemetery. The family and friends will be having a gathering at the Merom Community building after burial.
