Colleen (Parks) Kennedy

Colleen Kennedy, 89, of Carlisle passed away on Monday

December 14, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Greenwood IN.  She was born in Carlisle IN, on February 12, 1931 to Allan Parks and Faith (Clayton) Parks.  She was a retired librarian and a life long resident of Carlisle. She enjoyed taking walks in nature, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Carlisle  United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and the Civil Air Patrol.  She was married to Bill Kennedy and he preceded her in death along with her parents.

Survivors include her two sons, David Kennedy of Greenwood, Richard Kennedy of Carlisle, grandchildren Kristen (Jacen) Brooke, Craig, Andrew (Nicole), Amanda (Mark),  Matt (Alex) and Katelynn; and seven great grandchildren:  Madison (Brian), Logan, Aidan, Gloria, Mason, Kennedy and Caroline.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 19, 2020 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul Myers officiating.   Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Carlisle.  We wish to thank those in advance for wearing masks.
