Connie Mckinley

Connie McKinley, 77, of Carlisle passed away on November 14, 2013. She was born in Carlisle on April 23, 1936 to William and Mary Ann (Timms) Thewlis. Connie was a 1954 Graduate of Carlisle High School, was a homemaker and worked at The Roots Store in Sullivan, and Thackers Red & White Store in Carlisle. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Gene McKinley in 2007, her father William Thewlis, and her daughter Rhonda Kay McKinley in1954. Survivors include her mother, a son Rick McKinley and companion Karla of Vincennes, a daughter Monna Cardinal of Sullivan, two sisters Nancy MacDonald (Dave) of Sullivan, Judy Anderson (RH) of Sullivan, 2 grandchildren Marcie Hartzburg (Kenny) of Terre Haute, Lindsay Cary (Josh) of Shelburn, 3 great grandchildren Tre Edwards, Jadon Edwards, Kyndall Cary and two nieces and one nephew. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday November 18, 2013 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Norris officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Shepard cemetery.
