Danny Gene Morin

Danny Gene Morin, 78, of Sullivan slipped into the sweet eternal presence of Jesus on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Glenburn Senior Living. He began his life journey on October 6,1947 in Sullivan, born the son of the late Wayne Morin and Helen Hooley. He was a graduate of North Central High School and earned his associates degree from Indiana State University.

He married his loving wife Linda Trowbridge in 1987. Danny was a longtime member of Sullivan First Baptist Church.

Danny was owner /operator of Mo/Rel Properties, where he delighted in assisting people and making new acquaintances. He was a dedicated, loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He was the biggest kid on the playground when there were children in his presence, he adored his grandchildren and the laughter and memories he left with them will live on for generations.

Danny, was an avid runner, who ran the Mayor's Cup Race, yearly with family members, he enjoyed biking and fishing, just to name a few. Danny greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors. Never one to worry, he took daily life in stride, with his family at his side.

He was greeted at Heaven's gate, by his parents, infant daughter, Lisa Marie Morin and his grandson, Kevin Morin.

Those here to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Linda Morin; children, Scott Morin and wife, Erica, Tiffany Bennett and husband, Craig; bonus children, Mona Willey and Shannon Willey; siblings, Donny Morin (Belinda), Deanne Tolbert (Brian) ; grandchildren, Anton, Xander, Andrew, Layla, Landry, Austin, Ashlyn and Jon, along with the Mother of his children, Cheryl Morin.

Cremation was chosen, with a celebration of a life well lived will be held at a later date.

Holmes Memorial Chapel and staff were honored to assist the family with arrangements.
