Darin Wayne Zellers, 50, of Shelburn, passed away on Tuesday October 31, 2017. He was born in Greene County on March 31, 1967 to William "Butch" Zellers and Linda (Followell) Zellers Dickson. Darin loved bowling in the Special Olympics, and had enjoyed the medals he had won; he was an avid sports fan having watched, read and discussed all events related to the game especially the Cubs. Darin was a member of the Briley Chapel Community Church. Preceding him in death was his father, his grandparents, Ezra (Doris) Followell, and William (Ruby) Zellers.

Survivors include his mother and step father Linda and Raymond Dickson of Shelburn, a brother Aaron (Anita) Zellers of Shelburn, sister Karen Caddell of Farmersburg, step-grandmother Connie Zellers, nieces and nephews; Whitney Zellers, Carlee Zellers, Evan Hege-Caddell, Jaden Hege-Caddell and several cousins, and special friend and caregiver, Donna Oglesby.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday November 3, 2017 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darren Sluder officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Oak Grove cemetery. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Special Olympics or the Happiness Bag Inc. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
