David Lynn McColl, 58, of Farmersburg, entered into eternal rest, in the comfort of his home, on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He began his life journey on September 22,1967 In Royal Oak, Michigan. He was the son of, Dougald and Joan Patricia McColl. David was a graduate of East Grand Rapids High School, Lake Superior State University, earning a Criminal Justice Degree, along with a degree in Hospitality from, Grand Rapids Community College. He married his loving wife on June 25,1994, Andrea Rasey.
David was currently employed with Regional Hospital as Food Service Manager. He was an active member of Central Christian Church in Terre Haute, a member of Pimento Masonic Lodge #292, Pimento Eastern Star #516, where he was Past Master and Past Patron. He also was part of the advisory board for Rainbow Girls Friendship Assembly #44.
David enjoyed being on the beach, soaking up the sunshine, visiting lighthouses and gardening in his spare time. His greatest reward in his life was his family. He cherished every moment spent with each of them, he loved deeply and in return was loved beyond measure. The memories he has left behind will be forever cherished.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Archibald and Nellie Fairbairn, Reverend Duncan McColl and Sarah Olive, along with a niece, Sarah Ann McColl.
Those here to cherish his memory are his wife, of 31 years, Andrea Rasey McColl; daughter, Amanda McColl; brothers, Richard McColl (Corina) and Reverend Michael McColl (Heather); niece, Hannah McColl; nephew, Johnathan McColl, along with his beloved Delta Sigma Phi family. Also his 4 fur baby cats who miss him dearly.
Services will be at Central Christian Church in Terre Haute, on Saturday, April 25. 2026 with time of gathering and remembrance beginning at 10:00 am. services to celebrate a life well lived at 1:00 pm. with Reverend Rebecca Zelensky officiating.
