Dean Ridge

Dean Ridge "Poppy" 82, passed away peacefully on Monday May 15, 2017 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Sullivan County on March 25, 1935 to Willard Cecil Ridge and Dicie (Hoesman) Ridge. Dean was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, as well as a mentor to many others. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Verlene Pirtle.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Regina (Roseberry) Ridge, daughter Rosanna (Thad) Pirtle, son John (Amy) Ridge, two brothers Jerome (Barb) Ridge, Gary Ridge, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At his request no services will be held and his ashes will be scattered around the Pirtle Farm. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
