Deborah Armstrong

Deborah S. Armstrong, 53, of Sullivan, went into the arms of her Lord from her home on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 12:30pm. She had endured a prolonged illness for eight and a half years with incredible courage. She told everyone, "Don't pray for me because I know where I'm going. Just lead one person to Christ". Deborah was born on April 9, 1960 at Wright Air Force Base, Ohio to James C. Bergman and Patricia Robbins Bergman. Deborah is survived by her parents and step-mother Joy Bergman, her husband Michael Armstrong, daughters Mary Kristina Meier and Amber Manwaring (husband Stephen), sons Robert K. Peterson (wife Lucy), Preston T. Hunt (wife Kourtney), Erik Armstrong (wife Michelle), Brian Armstrong (girlfriend Lesley), sister Lara Sontag, and grandchildren James Foxx Meier, Shallen E. Meier, Christian Armstrong, Aiden Armstrong and Blake Hunt. She was preceded in death by her brother Steve Bergman and a sister Patricia Bergman lost to still birth. She will always be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to family. Deborah was a member of Crossroads Community Church. A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future. Holmes Memorial Chapel was assisted with arrangements.
