Dianna Lynn (Alumbaugh) Monk

Dianna Lynn Alumbaugh Monk of Graysville, passed peacefully away at Terre Haute Regional Hospital on February 18, 2025.

Dianna was born August 13,1949 in Sullivan County, to Charles and Clarabell Fuller Alumbaugh. She was a graduate of North Central High School. Dianna was married to Wiliam “Bill” Monk until his passing in 2013.

Dianna was a faithful member of Merom Bluff Methodist Church. She was a CNA for many years employed with Hutsonville Nursing Home. She enjoyed farm life with her family, taking care of the livestock doing what needed to be done on the farm. She was a big country music fan, loved flower gardening and growing her own produce. She was a definite plant lover of all types. In her spare time she enjoyed paint by numbers, reading novels and word searches. She was a loving wife, mother and nana.

Preceding her are her parents; husband Bill and daughter, Crystal Rene’ Jenne.

Those left to cherish her memory are her step children, Frank Monk (Kathy) and Dianna Enochs (Jerry); siblings, Fenton Alumbaugh, David Alumbaugh and Debbie Cooley;  granddaughter, Lagene Rene’ Monk along with her son in law, Ricky Jenne; special brother in-law, Mike Monk. Several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 10:00 am. at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Pastor Erich Blevins  will be officiating.
