Dorothy Deakins

Dorothy Deakins, 74, of Fairbanks passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017 at home with her family by her side. She was born in Blue Island IL on June 29, 1942 to Frank and Winifred (Connor) Kramer. She was a loving house wife who loved to cook, bake; enjoyed country music and was co-owner of J D B'S Laundry in Shelburn. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, two brothers Robert Kramer, William Kramer and a sister Brenda Lowe.

Survivors include her sons Bill and his wife Cathy Deakins of Farmersburg, Jeff Deakins of Sullivan, daughter Dee Deakins of Terre Haute, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:00p.m. on Thursday June 22, 2017 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Ransford officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Little Flock Cemetery.
