Nelson "Eddie" Seay, 56, of Shelburn passed away on December, 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Chicago IL on June 17, 1957 to Robert and Mary (Pirtle) Seay. He attended North Central High School, was an Army Veteran, an Iron Worker, member of the Shelburn Masonic Lodge F & AM, Shelburn American Legion Post and a member of Shelburn First Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter Michelle "Mickey" Granby and her companion Scott Johnson of Fairbanks, a son Tony (Mandy) Seay of Shelburn, two brothers Bobby Seay of Shelburn, Sid (Terry) Pirtle of Franklyn, two sisters Judy (Ed) Arnett of Fairbanks, Susie (Mark) Cuff of Terre Haute, four grandchildren, Collin Granby, Peyton Seay, Carson Granby and Shelby Seay. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday December 12, 2013 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11-1:00 p.m. Military rites will be given by the Hymera, Shelburn and Sullivan American Legions and VFW Post. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery.
