Elizabeth Josephine (Partlow) Chapel

Josie Chapel, 82, of Dugger, passed away on Saturday December 22, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Sullivan County to Ben Partlow and Eva (Webb) Partlow. She was a 1954 graduate of Sullivan High School, and had married her late husband Robert Chapel and had become a housewife. Josie loved sewing, her family and antiques.

Survivors include her son Mike Eslinger, of Dugger, a daughter Diane and her husband JR Jerrell, of Linton, a sister Vada Settles, six grandchildren, Misty Yeryar, Tabi Nolff, Jeffery Boram, Brandon Boram, Kyle Eslinger, Dathan Eslinger, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She loved her daughters little MIA.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday December 27, 2018 at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
