Elizabeth Wright

Hymera, IN Elizabeth Wright, 93, of Hymera went home to be with her savior on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born October 11, 1923 to John and Ethal Hoopingarner Norris. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Robert Paul Wright, a son Richard Allen Wright, grandson Jon Wright, brothers Herschel, John Jr., Charles, Emil, Curtis, Richard, and sisters Myrtle, Lottie Mae and Wanda.

She is survived by two sons Robert (Sheila) Wright of Fairbanks, and Rick (May) Wright of Terre Haute, two daughters Sondra (Ron) Wells of Hymera, and Sharon (Darrell) Burnett of Indianapolis. Thirteen grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law Linda Wright of Clinton, IN. She was a faithful member of Bethel United Methodist in Hymera, and she loved IU Men's Basketball and Indiana State Women's Basketball.

Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2017 from 4 to 8pm at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan, Services will be on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00pm in the funeral home with Pastor Norman Santus officiating. Interment will follow in Pogue Cemetery in Fairbanks.
