Evelyn Ann Hendrix, 75, of Sullivan, passed away at her residence on Thursday May 16, 2019. She was born in Sullivan on August 7, 1943 to Leonard Shelton and Wilma (Linn) Shelton. Evelyn enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, and listing to gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alfred Hendrix, a brother Eugene Shelton, and a sister Garnet Shelton.
Survivors include son Randall (Sally) Hendrix, step son Bub (Linda) Hendrix, a step daughter Linda Sue (Herschel) Patton, brothers Archie (Joann) Shelton, Marvin (Margaret) Shelton, a sister-in law Diana Shelton, and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Evelyn will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 22, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ray Telschow officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m until the time of services. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.
