Sullivan, IN Franklin Duncan 83, of Sullivan passed away On Tuesday, December 22, 2015, in Linton Nursing Home and Rehab in Linton, Indiana. Franklin was born on November 18, 1932, to Hollis and Faye Spencer Duncan in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Franklin served in the Army and Navy. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the Bibleview Baptist Church at one time He enjoyed fishing, riding horses, golf, and target shooting. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, J.T. Duncan. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sharon Brummett Duncan, whom he married on November 10, 1956, a son, Timothy Duncan of Sullivan, sister, Maude Charles of South Bend, grandson, Adam Duncan, and several nieces and nephews. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements. Services for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
