Gary Allen Cox Sr. and Cheryl Elizabeth Wence Cox, strolled into the presence of Jesus together, hand in hand. Gary left this life behind on Saturday, October 25, 2025 and patiently awaited Cheryls arrival on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Gary began his life journey on October 2,1958 in Sullivan, the son of Steven and Alice Meeks Cox.

Cheryl began her journey on February 13,1964 in Sullivan, the daughter of Kenny Wence Sr. and Betty Seffel Bough. They were united in marriage on May 24,1979. Gary and Cheryl were hard working dedicated parents that lovingly raised and cared for their children and adored their grandchildren. They both were extremely proud to have the title of Papaw and Mamaw.

Gary owned and operated Cox Trucking for 35 years, then went on to be a part of the Keystone Co-Op family. Cheryl was first and foremost a devoted care giver to their handicap daughter Crystal for 33 years. Cheryl also worked outside the home as cashier and was a current employee of Walmart. Both of their lives were built around home and family.

Gary enjoyed planting a beautiful garden and watching tractor pulls. He enjoyed the simple things in life and was always quick with a mischievous grin. Cheryl loved the time they spent together on country cruises and fishing with the grandchildren. She would help anyone in need even if she did not know them. Her heart was one of a caregiver and was always compassionate.

The untimely passing of both will leave a void that can only be filled with loving memories that will be cherished for eternity.
