Gary Boone

Gary Boone, 65 of Shelburn passed into eternal life on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. Gary was born on March 22, 1959 to Gary Lee and Wilma Fry Boone.Gary was a graduate of Sullivan High School Class of 1977. He married his lifetime partner, Rhonda Stone on December 15, 1979.

Gary believed in working hard and loving huge. He was a John Deere Technician for Hutson Sales and Service. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and enjoying family cookouts. He cherished every moment  spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

Preceding him are his father, Gary Lee Boone Sr. along with a brother, Jimmy Boone.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Wilma Boone, his loving wife, Rhonda Stone Boone. His 4 sons, Andrew Boone, Robert Boone, Wesley Boone (Kimberly) and Benjamin Boone; sisters, Cheryl Martin (Bill) and Carol Bales (Les); brothers, William Boone (Pam), Keith Boone (Casey); 9 grandchildren and several extended family members.

Holmes Memorial Chapel was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
