Georgia Wiles

Georgia K. Wiles, 74, of Sullivan passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor with her family by her side.  She was born in Vigo County on June 5, 1947 to  Lawrence  Nevins and Louise (Carlisle) Nevins Nowicki. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife.  She attended Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan. She loved to bowl, take care of her family, cook and camping with the boy-scouts and girl-scouts

Surviving are her husband of 56 years James Wiles whom she married on December 2 1964; her sons James (Toni) Wiles of Shelburn, Bill (Julie) Wiles of Carlisle, a daughter Debbra (Doug) Starkey of Shelburn, a brother Daniel Nowicki of Terre Haute, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Services will be a 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 28, 2021 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Eddie Hammond Officiating.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
