Gerald Kieffer

Gerald Kieffer, 75, of Sullivan passed away on Thursday August 10, 2023 at Envive Health Care in Sullivan. He was born on June 11, 1948, in Steubenville Ohio to Walter Kieffer and Jean (Isner) Kieffer.  Gerald was a 1966 graduate of Wintersville High School in Ohio.  He retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections, had several rental properties and his own lawn care service. He and his wife were members of the First Christian Church in Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife Rebecca (Anderson) Kieffer, sons Jason Evans, John Evans, a sister Janet Chuich and her husband Mike, brothers Walter Kieffer, Mark Kieffer, David (Dorothy) Kieffer, grandsons Mathew Evans and Ethan Evans, special cousins Neal Kieffer and Alan Kieffer, several nieces, nephews and other cousins.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with pastor David Cox officiating.  Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of services.  Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
