Ginger (Eubanks) Shorter

Ginger Shorter, 80 of Sullivan, passed away on Sunday September 15, 2019 at Glenburn Nursing Home, with her family by her side.

She was born in Alexandria IN, on March 17, 1939, to Delmer Eubanks and Alice (Ault) Eubanks. Ginger was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her family was her life. She enjoyed reading, gardening and faithfully attending the grandchildren's events.She had attended the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Betty Yarber.

Survivors include her husband of 62years, Howard Shorter whom she married on July 6, 1957;a son Ron (Alice) Shorter of Sullivan, Sindi (Brent) Thompson of New Lebanon, Christy (Mont) Chenoweth of Graysville, sisters Karen (Michael) Garofalo of Vancouver WA, Barbara (Junior) Payton of Alexandria IN, grandchildren, Kyle Shorter, April Childress, Shane Monroe, Caleb Owings, Thad Thompson, Samantha Unger, seven great grandchildren and other family and friends.

Services will be at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Lisman officiating.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon.
