Glenda (Barron) Mood

Glenda Mood, 89, of Sullivan, passed away on Friday March 3, 2023 at Envive Health Care in Sullivan.  She was born in Shelburn on April, 7, 1933 to James Barron and Opal (Mayfield) Barron. Glenda was a 1951 graduate of Sullivan High School and had worked at Midwest homes and Pfizer’s. She became a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed her memberships with the VFW and The American Legions. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Oscar Eugene “Red” Mood, and her daughter Lori Burnett.

Survivors include her son Scott Loudermilk and his friend and companion Shirley Wright, a daughter Micki (Jerry) Payne, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 8, 2023, at Center Ridge Cemetery with Brother Bill Sam Phegley officiating.
