Harold Abrams

Harold Leon "Deice" Abrams, 76, of Indianapolis and formerly of Carlisle passed away at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 27, 1939 in Sullivan to Paul Abrams and Mary Vest Abrams. He was a former Veteran's Service Officer, a U.S. Navy veteran, a former barber and a member of the Indiana Prairie Baptist Church and a former member of the Sullivan American Legion. Preceding him in death was his wife Beverly Day Abrams who died December 29, 2014 and one grandchild Kayla Marie Abrams.

Survivors include three sons Andy Abrams, Kokomo, Paul Abrams, Indianapolis, and Tim Abrams, Indianapolis, a sister Elizabeth Masters, Greensburg and a brother Gerald Abrams, Vienna, IL nine grandchildren, one great grandson and other relatives.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brad West officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will take place at Indian Prairie Cemetery with military services by the Sullivan, Hymera and Shelburn American Legions and the Sullivan Veterans of Foreign Wars.
