Helen Greenway, 82, of Fairbanks, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born in Sulfer, Oklahoma to Robert and Myrtle Mae Threet Bell, on December 16, 1933. Helen attended the Shelburn First Baptist Church, enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and watching her favorite football team, The Indianapolis Colts. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, and husband, Henrie "Smokey" Greenway.
Survivors include, two sons, Gary Allred, of Fairbanks, David Allred (Beverly) of White Water, Missouri, five daughters, Joyce (Gene) Johnson of Fairbanks, Lynn (Jimmy) Johnson of Indianapolis, Cyndy Thornton, Becky Chappell, and Debbie Fike, thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place at Johnson Cemetery in Graysville, Indiana at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
