Herbert L Drew

Herbert Lee Drew, 91, of Sullivan passed away on January 21, 2014 in Breckenridge Health and Rehab Center. He was born September 29, 1922 in Argos, Indiana to Ora L. Drew and Edna B. Rorher Drew. Survivors include daughters Carolyn Louise Freels (Fred) of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Jean Gandy (Mike) of Pampa, TX and Martha Lee Cunningham (Ian) of Jamul, CA, son JR Drew (Darda) of Sullivan, IN, and a brother Richard Drew of Conway AR. Preceding him in death were is wife Mabel Abby Hicks Drew, his parents, and a brother Jack Drew. He was a WWII Air Corp veteran, member of Sullivan First Christian Church, and was a retired truck driver having driven for Indiana Trucking. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on January 29, 2014 at the First Christian Church, in Sullivan, with Rev. Dale Wise officiating. Interment will occur at a later date in Center Ridge Cemetery. Holmes Memorial Chapel, of Sullivan, was entrusted with arrangements. If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in his memory.
