Hilda Hamilton

Shelburn, Hilda Hamilton, 88, formerly of Shelburn passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Moore County Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. She was born June 7, 1926 in Shelburn, Indiana to James and Charlotte Saywell Santus. Survivors include a son Billy Hamilton (Ruth), sisters Violet Trump (Sam) and Marjorie Kenner, grandchildren Michael and Laura, and great-grandchildren Josh, Allie, and Nicole. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Mike Hamilton in 2000, sisters Cleo Stanley and Phyllis Larney, and brothers Ronald and Thomas Santus. She was a 36 year member of the Shelburn American Legion Auxiliary. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014, at 11:00am in Little Flock Cemetery, in Shelburn, with Pastor Norman Santus officiating. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
