Homer Beaver

Homer Beaver, 82, of Fairbanks passed away at his home on January 8, 2021. He was born in Cayuga IN on November 27,1938 to George Beaver and Myrtle Evelyn (Keister) Beaver. Homer was a member of the Fairbanks Fire Dept., and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ of Sullivan.  He loved to mow yards, old cars and sports.   Preceding him in death are his wife Mary (Dehart) Beaver, whom he married on October 16, 1960; his son Homer Beaver Jr, his sisters Kathryn Meneely, Loretta Dyer, his brothers William, George Jr., Robert, Raymond,Vernon, Dean, and Donald Beaver.

Survivors include his son Lynn (Sherri) Beaver of Fairbanks, a sister Gloria Ann Hayworth, of Terre Haute, a brother Ernest Beaver (Barbara), of Terre Haute, grandchildren Brianna (Matt) Poff and Brett Beaver, of Fairbanks.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastors Buford Smith and Brad Moore officiating.  Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of services.  Burial will be at Pogue cemetery. The family suggest that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairbanks Fire and Rescue.
