Jackie Leon Smith

Jackie Leon Smith, 56, of Sullivan passed away on Wednesday September, 3, 2014 in Avon IN. He was born on February 6, 1958 in Sullivan to Elmer "Bill" Smith and Pat (Pinkston) Smith. He was a 1976 graduate of Sullivan High school, a member of the IBEW Local 1393, employed at Winn Energy and Duke Energy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Preceding him in death is his father Bill Smith. Surviving members are his wife Carrie (Page) Smith, his sons Jedidiah (Brittnee Roberts) Smith of Carlisle, Jake Smith of New Lebanon, daughter Jess (Mark) Kennedy of Sullivan, brothers Bill (Linda) Smith of Sullivan, Stan (Debbie) Smith of Sullivan, sisters Janice (Tom) Smith of Sullivan, Terri Smith of Sullivan, and several nieces and nephews. Services for Jackie will be at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday September 7, 2014 at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Private burial will take place on Monday at Center Ridge Cemetery.
