Jackie Suter

Jackie Thomas Suter, 82 of Farmersburg, passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2019 at Cobblestone Crossing in Terre Haute. He was born in Jett, KY on January 1, 1937 to Arlen Suter and Carrie (Morrow) Suter. He was a 1956 graduate of Farmersburg High School, had married the love of his life Marjorie Rose Suter on June 28, 1956 and together they started their family. He was employed at Alcan of Terre Haute. He was a girls softball coach, enjoyed camping, gospel singing and the Swinging Mates Square Dance Club. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, brothers Buster, William and Robert Suter.

Survivors include his daughters, Carol (Drew) Brand, Nancy (Joe) Wright, Jamie Suter, Jackie (Rick) Gilbert, Michele (Mike) Anderson, sisters, Anne Randolph Mary Lou Church, nine grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mick Pringle. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. Private burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, on Saturday.
