Janet K (Whitman) Soules

Janet K. Soules, 73, of Sullivan passed away on June 22, 2021.  She was born in Sullivan County to Warren Whitman and Imogene (Wilson) Whitman.  Janet was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, and also taught at Ivy Tech.  She is preceded in death by her parents and son Shane Foutz.

She is survived by her husband William Randolph Soules II, sister Karen Bowen “Bob”, half-sister, Savanah Whitman, half-brother Seth Whitman, nephew Justin Toction and his wife Erin Cockrum, very special family members Tiffanie Zebart, Ashlyn, Landyn, and Maelynn.

Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.

The family of Janet Soules suggest that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Sullivan County Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
