Janice Bledsoe, 84, of Sullivan, formerly of Jasper and Vincennes, passed away on Saturday October 16, 2021, at Breckenridge Health Care. She was born in Carlisle on March 14, 1937, to Russell E. Bledsoe and Elizabeth (Stuller) Bledsoe. Janice had attended Oaktown Elementary and Middle School and was a 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School in Vincennes. She lived many years in Morganton, NC, where she worked at Henredon and Kimball Companies. The last 25 to 30 years she lived in Jasper, IN, where she worked at Kimball and German American Bank. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister Jessie Stafford and her husband Robert, a nephew Brian Medlin.
She is survived by her sister, Madge Evelyn Medlin, nieces and nephews Beth (Lopez) Sweinimer of Vincennes, Terry Cox (and Richard) of Carlisle, Robin Staggs (and Curtis) of Lawson MO, and Mitch Medlin of Raleigh NC.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday October 21, 2021 at Holmes Memorial with Father John Pfister officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
