Jeffrey Eugene Kinnett

Jeffrey (Jeff) Eugene Kinnett, was reunited with his loving wife, Molly, on August 25, 2025 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones. Jeff was born on May 9, 1962 at Mary Sherman Hospital to Larry Eugene and Patricia Ann Wright Kinnett. He was a member of the graduating class of 1980 and attended Nashville Auto Diesel College. He married the love of his life, Molly Ann Roehm on November 22, 1986.

Jeff was many things to many people, husband, dad, son, brother, and friend. But to his 5 grandchildren he was simply “Grandpa” and nothing made him prouder. He enjoyed nothing more than time spent with those he loved. More often than not, you would find him in his garage working on vehicles and tinkering. He loved a project, especially if that project helped someone else. Jeff had a “helpers heart” and was willing to help anyone in any way he could at a moment’s notice. A lot of people know Jeff from his time working at Sullivan Furniture where he’d greet you with a wide smile and a helping hand. He valued the simple things in life and you’d rarely hear a complaint uttered by him regardless of his circumstances. His positive attitude and outlook on life will be greatly missed by those that love him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Molly Kinnett, and his father, Larry Kinnett.

Those here to cherish his memory are his children, Jessie (Justin) Moore and Jeffrey (Holly) Kinnett; Mother, Patricia Kinnett; siblings, Scott (Stephanie) Kinnett, of Dugger, Bryan Kinnett (Sarah Miller) of Shelburn, and Lisa (Rick) Chastain of Sullivan; 5 grandchildren, Robbie, Annelise, Bryson, Abigail, and Everett, along with many extended friends and family.

A service to celebrate a well lived life will be on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with friends and family visitation from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ben Wetherington officiating.

He will be laid to rest following at Center Ridge Cemetery.
