Jerry Mckain

Jerry Wayne McKain, 65, of Shelburn, passed away at 7:45am, Friday, September 20, 2013 in his residence. He was born August 30, 1948, in Sullivan IN., to Francis and Florence Vest McKain. Survivors include his wife Linda, son Mike, sister Debbie Kinnamon (Greg), half-sister Phyllis Bogart, a half-brother Bob McKain, 2 step-daughters, and step grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Loretta. He was veteran having served in the Marines and attended school in Sullivan. Jerry will be remembered for having served on the Sullivan County Sheriff's Dept., and being the owner/operator of McKain's Market north of Sullivan. There will be a memorial service Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 11:00am at the Church of God in Shelburn, with Pastor Jerry Adams officiating. Military services will be performed by the American Legions from Shelburn, Sullivan, Hymera, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Sullivan County.
