Jerry Wayne Phegley Jr

Jerry Wayne "Turbo" Phegley Jr, 61, of Carlisle passed away on Saturday July 12, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Sullivan County on June 11, 1953 to Jerry Wayne Sr. and Peggy Irene Robbins Phegley. He was a 1971 graduate of Sullivan High School, loved farming, Tractor Pulling, Trucking, his family, friends and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Mya Stearley and a brother in-law Norman McCammon. Survivors include his daughters Marcy and her husband Ryan Bell of Brownsburg, Melissa and her husband Nathan Stearley of Carlisle, a sister Lisa McCammon, grandchildren Calli Stearley, Lyndee Stearley, and Penelope Stearley. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Holmes Memorial Chapel, with Rev Kirk Langston officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
