Jerry Stultz

Jerry Stultz, 77 of Sullivan passed away on October 9, 2014 at Sullivan County Community Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1936 in Sullivan county to Calvin and Edith "Pearl" (Gordon) Stultz. Jerry was a 1955 graduate of Gill Twp. High School, a farmer and had worked for the Sullivan County Highway Dept. He was a member of the Carlisle Masonic Lodge # 3 Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, a member of the Odd Fellows and had attended New Lebanon Methodist Church. Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers Calvin Stultz Jr, John F Stultz, and a sister Helen Stultz. Surviving members of his family are his wife of 56 years Carolyn (Shorter) Stultz whom he married on June 8, 1958, two daughters Anita (Todd) South of Sullivan Pam Kirschner of Carlisle, a brother Robert (Christine) Stultz of Merom two sisters Norma Wringa of Crete IL, Martha Moody of Indianapolis, four grandchildren Jeremy (Chelsie) Kirschner, John Kirschner, Adison South, Ashton South, a great grandchild Kassy Kirschner, several nieces and nephews. Services for Jerry will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 13, 2014 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Barbara Allen officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
