Jim Robert Wheeler

James "Jim" Robert Wheeler, 69, of Hymera, passed away on Friday November 10, 2017 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Sullivan County on February 29, 1948 to Merton Wheeler and Mildred Annis Wheeler. Jim loved to travel with his family across the United States especially to Alaska. He was a member of the Hymera First Baptist Church and the Ruritan. Preceding him in death is his mother.

Survivors include his father of Hymera, and a brother Jack Edward Wheeler of Hymera.

Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Michael Julian officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services on Tuesday. Burial will take place at K of P Cemetery on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. The family suggest that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
