Jo Ann Marshall, 92 of Hymera, passed away on October 8, 2022 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Jasonville.  She was born on November 21, 1929, in Greene County to Albert Kluesner and Ruth (Comstock) Kluesner.  She was a 1947 graduate of Linton High School. She was a model for Brown’s Photography in Linton. She became a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great-grandmother. She had worked at Meis Department Store as an area manager. Jo Ann loved to read, watch birds, and collect Longaberger Baskets.  She loved her dogs and mowing her yard with her own John Deere. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Sullivan, Hymera Order of the Eastern Stars and Girls ,Giggle, and Gab Club. She was preceded by her parents, Ruth and Albert Kluesner and brother Rex Kluesner.

Survivors include her husband James Marshall of 72 years, sons, Jim (Shirley) Marshall, Ken (Jodi) Marshall, daughters, Marsha (Rick) McHugh, Jana Kay Marshall (Keith) Fehrenbacher, grandchildren, Morgan Mehlbrech, Walker (Natalie) McHugh, Cora (Devon) McHugh, Shelley (Doug) Smith, Ross (Shelby) Marshall, Austin (Rachel) Marshall, Hannah (Troy) Henshaw, Lillian Marshall, great grandchildren, Tristan Baker, Emma Baker, Gracelynn Smith, Cecelia McHugh, TJ McHugh, Leland McHugh, Calahan McHugh, Addison Marshall, Rhett Marshall, Tucker Marshall, Rex Marshall, Leo Marshall, great great-grandchild, Percy Baker, several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Services will be  12 noon on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at the First Christian Church with Pastor David Cox officiating. Visitation will be at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Linton. Holmes Memorial Chapel  has been entrusted with arrangements.
