John Robert Barnes, 57, of Shelburn passed away on December 30, 2021. He was born in Hammond IN, on January 21, 1964 to Barbara Jean Barnes. John was a mason by trade and had worked in the Chicago area. He was a member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville, loved his Ford Truck and his Harley Davidson. John could be a very stubborn man and had his own opinions on life. He is preceded in death by his mother, and a brother James Barnes.
He is survived by his daughter Amy Barnes, a sister Lana Vannatter, three grandchildren, Aleksandra Scroggins, Gregory Barnes, and Jonathan Barnes.
