John Russell Heaton

John Heaton, 77, of Shelburn, passed away at IU Hospital in Indianapolis on September 5, 2020.  He was born on April 24, 1943 in Pennsylvania, to Russell and Margaret (Duppassio) Heaton.  John enjoyed playing cards, going to the horse track, and spending time with his family and friends.

John is preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by sons, Russell Heaton, Allen Heaton, and Mark Heaton, daughter, Becky Hicks, brothers, Ronnie Heaton, Jimmy Heaton, Bobby Heaton, Mike Heaton, and several grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Holmes Memorial Chapel was  entrusted with arrangements.
